The Menorah Lighting ceremony hosted by Village Synagogue brings thousands of Jews together for a star-studded night of light and joy in celebration of the holiday of Chanukah. Guests enjoy giveaways, celebrity appearances and Chanukah Treats and surprises.

About Village Synagogue

The Village was founded in March 2016 by Rabbi Zalmy & Chana Fogelman with the dream to bring the joy of tradition, the spirit of community, and the beauty of our heritage to all.

Today, headquartered in the heart of WeHo, The Village is dedicated to creating the ultimate Jewish experience, through spectacular events and products, and inspiring educational, spiritual and social opportunities.

Inspired by the Chabad philosophy and the vision of the Lubavitcher Rebbe who believed that every Jew should have the opportunity to learn and explore their cherished Jewish identity; and taught us that every Mitzvah and kind deed, every word of love, every candle lit, every child educated, and every soul ignited, makes cosmic changes in this world for all eternity.

Today, The Village hosts: Village Hebrew Afternoon School, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Academies, a Young Professional community, Synagogue & Community Center, Adult Education Courses, The Men’s & Women’s Clubs, The Village Shop and Chana’s Challah. Today, The Village has become a dynamic destination in the Jewish Los Angeles landscape.

We welcome you to join us!
